I love how the world building is quite simple and based on some real world stereotypes, but it's really appealing somehow!

This series has so far been an absolute delight to watch - especially having never played this game myself.

Jon the Victorian ghost "I don't want plebs near me" 2024 4:42:30 I'm liking Skies of Arcadia a lot more than Starfield, that one despite the effort you put in just didn't feel like a good game so wasn't that fun to watch so just had it on as background noise during chores instead. Actually have Skies for gamecube, never played it as i got to busy with school after picking it up at a garden sale, probably will play for myself a few years down the line once i've forgotten the details.

I know the show says Thaddeus is a ghoul, but I really think that doctor gave him FEV. But maybe not, since ghouls do seem to regenerate in this show.

I'd say fallout 3 would be a fantastic place to start. This is from my experience as it was my first ever video game at around 19 years old. It starts super slowly in a vault, so you slowly get a feel for dialogue and the opening monologue is a banger. Yes the shooting is clunky and the random encounters mean you can run into a deathclaw at the super duper mart of an enclave soldier at level 2 or 3, but I really think it's a fantastic introduction to fallout. Also the metro tunnels were amazing, I wish they were more fleshed out, and I was so incredibly disappointed that fallout 4 didn't use them as well that it soured my view of the game a tiny bit...

(20:25) The "instant KO" spells like Eterni are terribly unreliable for the player party, but they work GREAT for enemies, so always use Delta Shield if you encounter enemies that can use it.

DeLoco sees you enter the mines, and traps you into following a predetermined path. And yet you manage to catch some guards by surprise. Either the guards are completely incompetent, or DeLoco didn't see fit to inform the rank and file what was happening.

Is there a reason Jon is guarding rather than focusing in the ambush attacks? I guess it saves time on a guaranteed kill, but if the point is to gather spirit I'm confused. Or maybe it's just Jon being Jon and forgetting the things while he's talking about it.

Haha, oh man, the number of times I was yelling "JUST SHOOT!" at the screen, as you waited for things to close to point blank range so you could use VATS, instead of just taking the two easy torso shots that would have killed them.

Jon I think you’re exactly right that Valua is a colonial Spain equivalent - De Loco, Belleza, Alfonso, Galcian, all sound totally fitting with an España accent.

De Loco is certainly a unique character.
